There was no news from the GMASC.

 

     Old Business—Trail work on Frady Branch was done by Kenneth and Joe

 

     Steve Freeman gave an update on Hannah and Abby’s Mustang Makeover. They did very well on handling and exceptional on trailering.  Congratulations girls!!  We are so proud of your accomplishments!

 

     Back Country Horsemen—Several Currahee members met with the group at Warwoman Campground. Frances gave a brief overview of the meeting.  Plans are underway for a new chapter to be formed.  More information will be coming.

 

     Frances  handed out maps for local trails.  If you didn’t get one see Frances .

 

     Oct. 18 will be our GMASC sanctioned show.  The show starts at 9:00.  Currahee really needs your help to make this show a success.  We need all club members to come and help during some part of the day.  Please help.

 

     Oct. 25 will be our Halloween Fun Show.  The show will begin at 11:00.  There will be lots of spooky, fun classes.  Bring your horse and join in the fun.   Prizes for the best costume will be given in three age categories.  We also need everyone to bring a cake for the Cake Walk. Please come and help.

 

     Plans for the Christmas party are being made.  More information will be coming.

Currahee has three work days scheduled for cleanup on the Frady Branch trails.  Work days are the first Saturday of each month.
